Sonus Faber executed this minimalistic and perfectly squared design in order to emphasise the quality of materials used. This principal of minimalism directly captures the essence of the product, which was thoughtfully designed in conjunction with the theory "less is more".
Lumina collection comprises the core values of Sonus faber and its iconic materials, such as real multilayer wood, leather and the natural composition of drivers. Simplicity remains central to the collection's identity with its easy set-up, accessible price point, and excellent sound performance, empowering everyone to enjoy a true Sonus faber experience completely made in Italy.
The Lumina II is the largest bookshelf speaker in the collection. The Lumina II maintains a compact and versatile design perfect for placement within a bookcase or shelving unitor can be positioned as a rear channel in a home theatre system.
The iconic D.A.D (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter is used, the same that is used in the Sonetto series. It features a Kurtmueller hand coated soft silk diaphragm of 29mm. The chrome rings around the drivers highlight the shapes and proportions and give brightness to the front baffle while outlining the voice of Sonus Faber.
The midwoofer is a brand-new 4" midwoofer, developed for this collection, it is equipped with the custom-made basket and the diaphragm based on cellulose pulp blended with other natural fibres.
Amator is an evocative name, which has characterized all the special Sonus faber models, becoming synonymous with uniqueness. Any market enthusiast knows that from this name it is right to expect an exciting and engaging listen.
The new Lumina II Amator crossovers have been designed inheriting to the legacy left by the development of the new Homage collection. Many of the solutions adopted on the new special models are derived from those of the Amati G5 and Guarneri G5.
The IFF circuitry and the phase coherent philosophy ensure perfect rendering of the virtual sound stage in three dimensions. The new filters also offer greater resolution and more rigorous and coherent reproduction.
Lumina II Amator is available in three new glossy finishes: red, wengé and walnut. A further stylish detail is the herringbone woodwork.
